Club Base Information

Green Briar Camera Club
Founded in 1934,Green Briar Camera Club is the second oldest camera club in CACCA ( and the oldest club continuously meeting in the same place!). We have been a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) since 1947. Green Briar currently has a small but active membership and welcomes anyone interested in photography to join us.
Each club season we hold monthly photo competitions from September through May ( 8 in all ) hold workshops, and host at least one presentation by an outside photo expert. We celebrate with an awards banquet at the end of our competition season in June. During the summer, members are invited to join in on field trips to photographically interesting events and locations (eg. Illinois Railway Museum, Chicago Botanic Garden, Old World Wisconsin, etc).
